About the organization:
The Vancouver Chinatown Foundation is a registered charity founded in 2011 to honour a culture and community established in Vancouver more than 100 years ago. The organization is characterized by a spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation and a passion to help the revitalization of Chinatown, one of Canada’s most iconic neighborhoods and the historic heart of Vancouver.

The Chinatown Storytelling Centre is a purpose-built cultural space that celebrates stories of the Chinese Canadian experience told through the lens of Vancouver's Chinatown. The May Wah Hotel is a SRO providing affordable social housing in Chinatown. Lastly, the Chinatown Vintage store, is a social enterprise – a treasure trove of gently used merchandise that includes women’s clothing and accessories where 100% of all profits go towards the revitalization of Chinatown.
