We completed the search for a Director of Corporate Information Technology for this established and well-known organization here in B.C. The Director is accountable for ensuring the organization’s infrastructure adheres to a high level of service. Managing a small team, the Director will lead by example as well as provide long-term plans that supports our client’s business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan the technology roadmap and corresponding standards in order to maximize the success of business and enterprise initiatives

• Introduce innovation that will enhance employee productivity

• Report to and working with the business’ senior leadership, the Director will develop an annual budget incorporating prioritized resources

• Recruit, manage and mentor team members including Managers of teams.

• Source, select and monitor enhancement of the organizations’ security needs.

• Assess risks, conduct audits, and monitor IT’s performance.

• Maintain a disaster recovery plan and improve as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

• Ten or more years of progressive experience in managing all aspects of network and infrastructure operations

• At least 3 to 5 years managing a team of managers.
